We are delighted to announce that PSL have been short listed for the Industry Exporter of the Year Award, amongst an exceptionally strong list of the UK's finest and most innovative companies.

These prestigious business awards recognise organisations and people that are developing the next generation of technologies, skills and products and making a real contribution to their community and British Industry.

From developments in nano-technology to the Airbus A380 Super Jumbo, British industry has many great achievements to its name. However industry is often portrayed as the Cinderella of the economy, as old fashioned and unsuccessful compared with more glamorous business sectors. The short listed companies demonstrate British industry, and the underlying skills of engineering and science, is world class, and vital for our future prosperity.

PSL design and built contained process solutions for the latest generations of highly toxic pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical drugs. Supplying to multinationals our business is naturally high in exports. Over 85% of PSL's British manufactured goods are exported to countries such as USA, Japan, India, China, and many European countries.

The winners of the awards will announced on February 8th 2007 at the Best of British Awards Ceremony, a black-tie dinner in the dramatic Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern. Celebrity compère Rory McGrath will oversee a lavish award ceremony, where the winners will be feted by the judges and their peers.

All short listed companies will also be celebrated in a special Awards programme and category winners in a dedicated Sunday Times supplement.
