On a PSL Filter Dryer the top dished end of the vessel is completely jacketed and insulated. This provides higher efficiency heat transfer during the drying phase. During the reflux cleaning process it allows a greater surface area to be cooled and ensures increased condensation of vapours.

Reflux cleaning a PSL Filter Dryer has achieved exceptional results of as low as 1ppm. This cleaning technology involves heating the base and cooling the jacket, dislodging any product trapped in the filter mesh, maximising cleaning efficiency.

Cooling and heating skids can also be provided to independently cool the jacket and heat the base.
