The PSL minimum volume base is machined from solid plate with a series of concentric grooves at varying depths. The grooves are joined together with radiating grooves, sloping to the central discharge outlet. This plate is jacketed and has completely welded insulation to form a single piece low profile base.

The high cGMP base is now easy to clean and validate and offers a greatly reduced volume beneath the mesh plate providing a substantial cost reduction of solvent consumption during process washing and reflux cleaning.

In addition, the complete assembly has a reduced overall height profile which assists with the planning into restricted headroom locations.
