The CIP system within PSL Filter Dryers is provided by a single wash ring, fitted with individual, specifically positioned spray nozzles.

Rotary spray balls are most effective within straight wall isolator technology, however within a filter dryer body, which has inherent pockets through nozzle inlets, the spray ball will not provide this same level of cleaning. Instead, PSL has designed a CIP ring fitted with directionally positioned PTFE nozzles to suit the individual vessel nozzle layout (typically twenty four nozzles are fitted within a 1mē vessel).

Cake washing is also provided through the same ring and ensures an even distribution of washing solutions without breaking the cake surface.
